This year, due to Covid restrictions, SCSS will look quite a bit different. We are happy and excited with the plan we’ve come up with this year and hope that you will be too! Instead of the usual four elective classes, we are switching to a “pairing” of two fun classes. Class cohorts will remain stable throughout the two-week session. During registration, you’ll sign up for one cohort which will run from 9am-12pm (one class from 9-10:30am and one from 10:30am-12pm). Class pairings are below, take a look and decide which pair of classes is right for you and also pick a back-up pairing just in case. We’re excited to have SCSS back this summer and we hope that you are too!
SCSS registration will begin on Tuesday, April 13th - 10:00 AM
Dates: June 14 - June 25 (one session)
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm (2 classes)
Class option #1: Oven Baked Clay & Just Dance
Class option #2: Drawing, Painting, Sculpting & Theater

Counselor In Training Program (CIT)
This year, due to budget and Covid restrictions, we’ll only be accepting a limited number of CIT’s. The CIT is a volunteer program that gives teens work experience and a way to give back to the community during the summer. Registration for the CIT program will begin Tuesday, April 13th. CIT’s will register to help with either Super Cool Summer School (June 14-June 25) OR Kinder Camp at Bacich (August 2- August 13).
After registration, we will schedule phone interviews. We will only be accepting a limited number of CITs, so registration does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Is your child looking forward to kindergarten in the fall? Put a skip in their step and a song in their heart by enrolling them in KINDER CAMP.
This class has been specially designed by Marin County Kindergarten teachers to help your child make a smoother transition into kindergarten. The 2 week’s class curriculum is based on what they will experience in the upcoming year. This gentle, stress free introduction occurs as they have fun in the actual kindergarten classrooms with experienced teachers. The ratio is 1:15 max plus each class will also have an incredible teen aide to insure your children have a fun positive experience. The students will enjoy a lively, sunny experience with tactile projects in arts, crafts, listening, nature, building, and laughter. We even try to put them in a class with a buddy of their choosing!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mix and match classes?
Unfortunately, mixing and matching is not possible this year due to Covid restrictions. We’ve tried to match up some of our more popular classes to cater to a wide range of interests.
There doesn’t seem to be as many classes as previous years, why is that?
We are keeping SCSS smaller this year to create a Covid-safe environment for students and staff.
What time can I drop off and pick up my child?
You may drop off up to 5 minutes early and must pick up by 12pm.
My child is on the waitlist, when will I know if we go in?
If a spot opens up, we’ll call and e-mail you right away.
Will Covid safety protocols be followed?
Yes. We will be taking every step possible to ensure the safety of students and staff. Up to date protocols will be emailed to you a week before SCSS begins.
Can I register in person or over the phone?
This year, registrations will only be taken online. Please ensure that you are ready with your choices and credit card when it’s time to register.
Do you have scholarships available?
Yes. There are a limited number of scholarships available. Please e-mail Nick Stone at firstname.lastname@example.org for an application.
