Resale Inspection Reports
Resale Inspections are required for residential properties located in Larkspur and the areas of the Greenbrae neighborhood that are in Larkspur. Click here for a List of City of Larkspur Streets
Resale inspections are conducted on Wednesdays on a first-come first serve basis starting at 9:00 a.m.
You can complete the resale inspection report application and email to You can pay by credit card over the phone.
The Building Department is responsible for enforcing the building, housing, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical codes of the city. The Department also:
- Perform inspections to ensure that residential, commercial, and industrial construction is in compliance with applicable codes and ordinances
- Issues building, plumbing, and electrical permits
- Reviews all construction plans
Building Inspector Office HoursThe Building Inspector will be available at City Hall to review permits and answer questions every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. You may also call (415)927-5038 during his counter hour to ask questions over the phone. Permit submissions can made at any time the Building Department is open.

Public Works Office HoursPublic Works will hold counter hours at City Hall for questions on a first-come, first-served basis on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. You may call their office for additional assistance at (415) 927-5017.
